About the Author
Earl E. Swartzlander, Jr. is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from University of Southern California. Maire O'Neill is chair of information security at Queen's University, Belfast, and holds an EPSRC Leadership fellowship. She earned her Ph.D. in electrical and electronic engineering from Queen's University, Belfast. Weiqiang Liu is a research fellow at the Institute of Electronics, Communications and Information Technology at Queen's University, Belfast. He earned his Ph.D. in electronic engineering from Queen's University, Belfast.

A VERY DETAILED QCA REFERENCE!!

Are you a professional electrical and computer engineer or nanotechnology scientist in industry, academia, and government? If you are, then this book is for you. Authors Earl E., Jr. Swartzlander, Maire O'Neill and Weiqiang Liu, have done an outstanding job of writing a book that provides a comprehensive introduction to semiconductor QCA circuit design.
Authors Swartzlander, O’Neill and Liu, begin by providing comprehensive background information on QCA technology. Next, the authors investigate the design and implementation of binary and decimal adders. Then, they explore the implementation of three types of parallel multipliers in QCA technology. In addition, the authors present the designs of two very different types of dividers: a digit recurrent divider and a convergent divider. They continue by discussing timing constraints and issues in QCA. The authors then investigate QCA systolic array design to further explore the characteristics of QCA. Next, they propose a family of new cost functions based on new cost metrics that could be used to evaluate QCA circuits. Finally, the authors discuss directions for future research.
This most excellent book presents an extensive study of computer arithmetic circuit designs in QCA. Also, based on QCA’s unique characteristics, this great book presents a new RCA design, the carry-flow adder (CFA).
