This is an incredible read, and you'll learn things that you only wish you could have applied in your life many many years ago!

This is by far one of the best books that I have ever read that was written by Patrick Kelly. I work in an industry where we teach people ways to lower their taxes, and to help them get out of debt. I was amazed at how much information this book provided that I was already teaching to my clients. Not only that, but if you are looking for a way to get ahead when it comes to retirement and ensuring that you are doing what you need to be doing, then I highly recommend this book to you. It is an incredible read, and you will learn more in this book than you will have ever learned in school.

Most of what is in here has never been taught in school. But I promise that by reading it, this book will change your life when it comes to the areas that you will invest your money. I have read this book multiple times, and will continue to read it as there are things that I not only apply on a daily basis, but I’m a student of the book. I teach people the principals that are taught in it, and I would recommend that you purchase this book as well. I love this book, and I have continued to read, and re-read to learn the essentials to help me become a better salesperson. I definitely give this book and author 5 stars. Incredible book!

The Big Lie.

Not satisfied with slandering Mrs. Riplinger in one work (see my reveiw of The Messianic Claim of Gail. A. Riplinger), Dr. Phil Stringer, decided to write another 'hit piece' this time, claiming that GAR (as he calls her) was involved in the occult and secretly undermining the KJB via Baptist churches. Does he have any actual proof? Ofcourse not!

Dr. Stringer early in the work sets up a straw man, he states 'The subtitle of In Awe of thy Word is: Understanding the King James Bible, It's History and Mystery, Letter by Letter'. In this subtitle GAR claims there are HIDDEN (emphasis given) mysteries in the letters of the KJB. Another word for 'hidden' is 'occult'...(p.41)
Nowhere is the word 'hidden' anywhere on the subtitle! It isn't there! Stringer has to add it so he can make the connecton to the occult. The word 'mystery' is a Bible word, does Stringer believe each time it is used, it refers to the occult?

Stringer states, I strongly suspect that GAR is a practitioner of the occult who has infiltrated independent Baptist circles...no one should believe such an accusation UNLESS there is extensive evidence to support it. This book will present that evidence' (p.22)
Does Stringer provide 'extensive evidence' Ofcourse not! What he provides is assertions without any real evidence to support them

He cites Dr. Sightler in a review of 'AWE OF Thy Word' who states because of the study of how the words and letters are arranged in the KJB, 'they stand alone without need of lexicon or commentary'
Stringer replies, According to Dr. Sightler, if you have GAR books you have no need of a 'lexicon or commentary'. That's right-you need no teaching besides that of GAR'(p.42)
Did Sightler say that? No. Sightler is saying once one understands the fact that the English in the KJB has a particular arrangement, one won't need lexicons and commenataries to explain the meaning of words, KJB will do both, that has nothing to do with GAR's books.
He then states one needs to compare this to other cult leaders. No cult leader ever made the KJB the final authority.

In Chapter's 8. he states that her books contain 'prominent occult symbols'
1st. A sunset is suppose to represent the Solar Logos. Yet, on his work, The Messianic Claims, he has the rays of the sun shining through the clouds.

2nd. Chapter 9 he claims that the front of the Book Hazadous Materials has a Mobius in the front cover, which the NKJ has, and is a Satanic Trinity symbol. The symbol that Riplinger has in the front of the book, is not a Mobious but the warning sign for Hazardous Materials

3rd. Stringer claims that she has the Fleur de Leis on her backcovers. They aren't, maybe Stringer never saw a Fleu-de-Leis

4th Because the Book, in Awe of thy Word, has a red sring as a placement marker, this is a sign of the occult. Ofcourse, many KJB's have red strings, including those sold by the TBS.

In chapter 10, he repeats the charge made in the previouse work MC, that Riplinger must be demon possessed because she heard voices. He then states that GAR has tried to defend herself by stating she was 'misquoted'. There is no reason to claim a misquotation, the fact is the word 'audible' never shows up in the conversation.
I guess Stringer never heard of the story that Luther (whom he cites in MC) threw an inkwell at Satan?

Stinger then attacks Riplinger on her quotes. He admits that Riplinger is indeed correct that a large percentage of translations have come from the KJB. He claims that she misquotes from two sources, The Bible of Every Land and The Book of a Thousand Tongues'
Yet, Stringer never gives us either Riplinger's quote nor the quotes from the books, to see where she erred. No, we are told that 'the Bible of Every Land can be found on the internet' and to compare GAR's quotation with what it actually says' In other words, Stringer is too lazy or too dishonest to show us the quotes!

In the work 'The Book of a Thousand Tongues' which Stringer claims to have, he states she takes statments out of context, but again, nothing is actually shown. Moreover, in his other book (MC) when this subject came up, he never mentioned either book, just a reference to Churchill who stated that there were over 700 translation from the KJB and that Stringer wished he knew Churchill's source. If he had the Book of a Thousand Tongues' would he have not known? Maybe he never actually read it!

Stringer then states that Riplinger misquotes J.A.Froude, but instead of giving us the actual quote from Froude, tells us the book is on the internet! Gee thanks!
Stringer then states that Riplinger has created her own form of the Kabbalah (p.75)-proof, there is none.

Stringer claims that Riplinger does not provide a single quote from the KJB translators that they were not without the inspiration of God, and that neither does anyone else (p.71)
In the Translators to the Reader, the translators make it clear that
'we have at the length, through the good hand of the Lord upon us, brought the work to that pass that you see'. (Translators to the Reader. TBS, p.25) The translators did state that God was involved in their translation.

Stringer's work is actually only 80 pages, he fills the rest of the book with two meaningless appendix's on the cults, which I suppose is to impress the reader with Stringer's knowledge in this area.
Riplinger has written over 4000 words and this is the best that her critics can come up with? Assertions without proof, ad hominem attacks, stawmen etc.

What the real is issue is, is the KJB sufficent or does one need to know Greek and Hebrew to REALLY understand it? That is why the attacks on Riplinger are so vicious and desperate, she has exposed the lie that the KJB isn't enough, that, according to the scholars, the English words aren't the final authority, but rather the Greek and Hebrew words are, so you must depend on them to tell you what the Bible REALLY says.
She has done a great work in returning confidence to the English speaking Christian in their KJB as God's very words, quick and powerful, not merely an accurate translation.

"SHOCK & AWE IN THE KJV-ONLY CAMP"

When we first took a stand for the King James Bible many years ago, it never occurred to us that "King James-Only" meant "no Greek and no Hebrew." It was upon reading Gail Riplinger's most recent book, In Awe of Thy Word, that we discovered that the term "KJV-Only" was to be taken literally. It means that the King James Bible alone is divinely inspired, perfect and superior to all other translations and texts, including the Greek Textus Receptus and the Hebrew Masoretic Text.

In Awe of Thy Word is both a broadside attack on the Greek Textus Receptus and an introduction to Kabbalah, which is Jewish occultism. Yet the heretical nature of Riplinger's book goes undetected by many in the King James-Only community probably because her best-seller, New Age Bible Versions, seemed to uphold the Textus Receptus as the standard text for New Testament translation. When it became apparent that Gail Riplinger had done a volte face on the superiority of the Greek Textus Receptus, it was time for us to reexamine her teachings and to confront many false teachings of King James Onlyism; for there appears to be a "conspiracy of silence" among KJV-Only leaders as Gail takes the movement to a new level of heresy.

This extensive and long overdue expose reveals the multitude of outright lies in Gail Riplinger's books, her shameless misquoting of sources and manipulation of data, her revision of Church history, her subtle teaching of Jewish occultism and her lack of a Christian testimony--2 divorces and 3 husbands. Mrs. Riplinger also promotes Bible translations that are not based on the Byzantine text she pretends to champion, but based on the corrupt Alexandrian manuscripts she purports to condemn. She also misrepresents the heretics who used these corrupt bibles as the "true Christians" who preserved the Traditional Text. As she legitimizes corrupt bibles and false religions, Gail trashes the Greek Textus Receptus as well as Greek and Hebrew resources that enable Christians to determine the accuracy of various Bible translations. Instead of encouraging the use of Greek and Hebrew resources to understand the meanings of the words in Scripture, Gail teaches her readers how to divine "letter meanings" Kabbalistically.

Having investigated the endtime deception for well over a decade we thought we had seen everything; however, the sophisticated web of lies, manipulated data and false teachings put out by Gail Riplinger surpasses them all. We urge the reader to take time to read this important report, and to "prove all things" by checking our documentation of the many lies in Riplinger's publications and the massive fraud that is King James Onlyism.

Dr. Phil Stringer is a false teacher who uses the same methods Jesuits use to deceive others with. I would strongly advise any Christian who has this book to burn it. It's an attack on Dr. Gail Riplinger who has exposed the truth about translations of the bible that have removed scriptures / and or changed the words which is expressly forbidden by God according to His Holy Bible - which is - The King James Authorized Version. If you have any other version of the bible - get rid of it.

Love the unique and captivating voice of Charlotte Stein!

This strange, alluring romance is the story of Molly and Cyrian. When Molly takes the job of live-in housekeeper to an eccentric aloof man, she finds herself exposed to him in more ways than one. Cyrian is by all rights someone whom she should stay far away from, a man who makes no effort to reveal any more of himself to her than at all necessary. But as she uncovers him layer by layer, she finds herself more and more attracted to the enigma that he is. And when Cryrian starts to return her feelings, things between them heat up considerably. But is an affair all this is, or is it leading to something deeper?

Though I know it's not to everyone's taste, Charlotte's introspective first person point of view found in many of her stories, including this one, really works for me. You know everything that the character of Molly feels, sees, imagines, frets over, lusts for, and despairs about. The romance between her and Cyrian unfolds like the petals of a rose, stripping away Cyrian's standoffish veneer until the heart of him is exposed. I loved how the romance contains elements of suspense to keep you on edge, wondering if they will ever get to be truly together or if that will just be too much for Cyrian. The sex is raw and blunt, sometimes even shocking and yet the romance is sweet, creating a contrast that works well and makes the story unique. For me, it was thoroughly entertaining and I bought into this unlikely couple finding their way to a happy ending. 5 stars.

Gothic in setting & naughty in tone.

Gothic in setting and naughty in tone, Sweet Agony was a delight. While Sweet Agony was clearly inspired by Benedict Cumberbatch's portrayal of Sherlock, Sweet Agony is much more.

Molly Parker is a young but very determined woman. She bluffs and retorts her way in to Cyrian Hanford's house to become his housekeeper, despite the many physical and emotional obstacles he puts in her way. The Gothic dark house, with it dark paneled rooms and odd corners is a refuge, its library a wonderland.

Cyrian Hanford is a reclusive repressed eccentric who is both awkwardly handsome and possessing of a cutting wit. He is secretive, deceptive but also generous and perceptive. Mr. Hanford at turns avoids Molly or baits her, seeking a way to push her out his life. Molly persists however not only to see through his bluster but to recognize his goodness, kindness and his desire.

Sweet Agony was incredibly funny and sexy. I found myself startling my family with my laughter and struggling to find a polite/family friendly way to explain it (there is really no good way to explain why a read-out-loud of pornographic Victorian text is hilarious, without mentioning that it was a pornographic Victorian text). Stein's trademark first person magic is used to great effect in this novel. Limited as we are by Molly's knowledge we are held in supsense and discover along with her Cyrian's secrets.

While Cyrian and Molly are both sexually inexperienced they make up for it through curiosity and hunger. Their halting but scorching sexual encounters were great. Molly and Cyrian might be mismatched in many ways with the vast gaps in their social class, education and personal wealth, but they value and treasure each other like no else would. They have both been horrifically hurt through neglect and abuse by their families of origin but in each other find kindred spirits, play and love.

As with almost all my previous Stein books, I'm left wanting more, but I trust Cyrian and Molly to have a HEA that pleases them even if it confounds others.

Read if you like BDSM sex books

I didn't know what to expect with this book, but when I read the synopsis, my first thought was Jane Eyre, and then when the author started making references to Eyre, I see that was intentional. Then as I was reading, I thought it was like the movie the Secretary, this was very close to the beginning of the book, and as I read further it really began to resemble the movie. There was promise in the beginning of the book, but as the book went on it just became about sex, and nothing else happened, just a whole lot of sex exploration, and the sex is of the BDSM nature. The descriptions were very graphic, and the word choice was over the top. They talk dirty to each other all the time, and try to use the most vulgar words. It wasn't really to my liking. I gave this a 3 star, rather than less because I like the whole premise of the story. The book was fine, but it definitely needed more story to it, and the ending was pretty blah. All in all, you have Beauty and the Beast/Jane Eyre in the BDSM world, so if you like all sex books then this will be good for you!
