Lauren finds herself in an empty marriage with a husband, Calum, she believes is faithful. a chance encounter where she literally bumps into another woman, Gillian, changes everything. her intense attraction to this woman sends Lauren into headlong cerebral fantasies until she actually gets the chance to decide if she would like to make them a reality when she finds herself in front of Gillian after Lauren's mom hires Gillian as a forensic accountant. Gillian felt an instant spark (or something deeper) when Lauren bumped into her accidentally. Gillian does not trust her instinct after a devastating, horrific break-up with her ex that left her physically and emotionally scarred... especially when she learns Lauren is married to a man and is seemingly 100% straight. in the backdrop of this, Lauren's parents are facing their own ill fate after her mom detects embezzlement of her family-owned company's funds... and Gillian's best friend, Travis, navigates heartache and life-altering betrayal.
The book takes place in London and does a fairly good job of providing background of each character. most of the heated scenes in the book are fantasies inside Lauren's head (that are nonetheless descriptive)...until toward the end when her actual life becomes the setting for these illicit visions. i never get a chance to really like Calum, Lauren's husband, and i realize by the end of the book, he is irrelevant. instead, i like the storyline of Gillian and Lauren... some of the events are far-fetched but in the world of romance, i have come to expect that.

What a fun read. I love sexy lesbian love stories! Well-written. I read it straight through. Reminds me of my own coming-out epiphany and love/lust at first sight when my wife and I met.
